To raise average gift / ask / level of negotiation / and overall donation revenue we create a game. We reward staff who get donations with any donation over £10 p/m with an EXTRA 50p added on. For every 20 sign ups over £10 with an extra 50p that will count as a voucher. Vouchers can be exchanged for -6 sph hours in a working day (down as training on tally sheet but the sign ups count which can really raise overall sph.) or a day off with three vouchers (= 40 sign ups with minimum £10 and an extra 50p or 2 x sign ups target for a perfect day) or other staff requested prizes.

The voucher system can be easily tracked with vouchers being issued by team leaders on the day on reciept of valid entry mandate forms.

The extra money earned for the forty sign ups it would take to earn a day off would be outweigh the expense of the day off 4/1.

£10 x 12 x 1.282 = 153.84

£10.50 x 12 x 1.282 = 161.532

Difference + £7.69

1 sign up equals an extra £7.69

5 sign ups equals an extra £38.45

10 sign ups equals an extra £76.90

15 signups equals an extra £115.35

20 signups equals an extra £153.80

20 signups with an extra £0.50 are equivilent to 1 quality signup for £10 per month

The target is currently SUs 2 a day so 40 vouchers for signups with an extra £0.50 on any over £10 earns the bearer day off.

The Target is 10 a week so each fund raiser could earn a day off a month (or an extra days pay?)

If you want to improve the margins of profitability raise the vouchers to 50 for a day off.

Alterantively if a fundraiser wants to improve their sph then they can use 2 vouchers to minus one sph hour from their days tally. If a fund raiser has had a shit day they can trade 2 vouchers for every hour off their sph (entered as training hours on the tally sheet by teamleader)

Staff get to earn a way to improve their sph (keep their jobs), minimise the effects off an off day on their team leaders results and their personal results to stand a chance at the £100 a month incentive also being run.

A maximum of 6 vouchers can be traded off a day (meaning that at least 1 hour would go down on the rota to safe guard staff getting paid and to calculate sph. It can’t be done without at least 1 hour to divide SUs by.)

The staff can effectively “earn” their own training hours while being cost effective and maximising long term financial gain from supporters and honing negotiating skills and increasing ask confidence.

This year every penny counts!
